Before joining LTB I had a happy facade but inside I was embarrassed about the unhealthy state i was setting for my son.
I was inconsistent with fitness activity and spending £4.95 a week on slimming world to eat and drink what I liked for 5 days and then starve for the 2 days before weighing in!
Funnily enough I lost weight some weeks and then put it all back on and more, the following week! Since walking through the doors of LTB, i have lost weight and gone down by 3 dress sizes, but gained so much more!
I am now consistently training 3 times a week and as I have got fitter, I am actually running too! I am happier, more confident and most of all, I have met some of the bloody loveliest people ever. Not just the trainers but the whole LtB family.
I am now proud to say that my 9 year old tells people how his mum is getting fitter, stronger and healthier which means I am as happy on the inside as I am on the outside!!

Having a coach assign the programme is essential for progression, turning up/sticking with it and seeing the progress made.
Last year I achieved my first strict pull up 🙌 (which has been a goal)
Over the last 6months I have increased my strength significantly-
This has been due to the progressive programming that has been written.
You listened to me and are now progressing me to be stronger than I ever thought possible.

This gym is different to any other I've been to! Firstly I've been coming here for over 2 years on the semi private programme and have never become bored of my training sessions. Each one feels tailored to my ability and sometimes even my mood. I have achieved things I never imagined I'd do and have even been complimented on my deadlifting technique by someone quite buff, who knows what they're talking about!
The major draw at LTB is that once you've joined, you're part of a huge, wonderfully friendly club of people who you might train with, see at socials or only know through the facebook group. It's a special and unique place, full of support and encouragement from nearly every generation!

Workouts are hard, really hard but you feel fantastic afterwards. Your body is pamper and you know you’ve worked your body.

No, we are very flexible, we train a lot of full-time workers and parents. You can change your sessions every week and book in to any which suit you.
That's fine, most of our members are beginners, you don't need any experience or fitness level to join Curious. We will help you.
You can sign up as a member, or you can walk away at the end, it's totally up to you!
